ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sergio Frada is an Italian photographer, born in 1953 in Crocetta del Montello, Treviso. He currently lives between his native country and Central America.
He has always been a photography enthusiast since his youth, but he approached professional photography in 2011, specializing in the genre of macrophotography. His greatest passions are nature and travelling, especially in Central and South America, and this is reflected in his works, with a strand focused on small local animal species, especially arthropods.
In 2020, no longer being able to travel due to the pandemic, he decided to change his style and genre, devoting himself entirely to the creation of photographic collages.
His favourite subjects are the historical buildings and the city centres, which he tries to put together by creating new shapes, or by repeating the same image by rotating it to achieve a kaleidoscopic effect.

Since 2013 he has participated in various photographic exhibitions, both personal and collective, in the towns of Mogliano, Bassano, and Treviso.
In 2017 he published the educational book for children entitled "ASA, ALIENO IN CASA", illustrated by the artist.
In 2018 he was invited to participate in ENTOMODENA - International Exhibition of Insects, where he exhibited his photographs depicting many species of arthropods, some of which rare.
